T1 – A customs transit procedure used for goods that are moving between two points within the EU customs territory, passing through non-EU countries (like Switzerland or Norway) or special territories (like the Åland Islands). It allows goods to move under customs control without the payment of duties or taxes until they reach their final destination within the EU or are exported out of the EU.
