Thailand
Thailand, situated at the heart of Southeast Asia with a coastline exceeding 3,200 km, shares its maritime boundaries with neighboring countries such as Myanmar, India, Indonesia, and Malaysia. This advantageous position has played a crucial role in solidifying Thailand’s position as a major logistics hub in Southeast Asia. Bangkok Port, the biggest port in Thailand located in the capital city, has the capability to handle diverse cargo types, including containers, bulk shipments, and general goods. It is equipped with 37 berths, allowing it to manage 1.26 million TEUs of container throughput in 2023. Additionally, a substantial volume of cargo, roughly 8.6 million TEUs, was processed at Laem Chabang Port in 2023. It is currently undergoing its third construction phase to expand its capacity to process no less than 18 million TEUs annually. Furthermore, Sriracha Harbor functions as a private deep seaport, capable of handling over 3,000,000 tons annually. It is accessible most of the year to meet the demands of customers requiring reliable and flexible port services.
